The villa accommodates up to eight guests.

How many bedrooms and bathrooms are there?
There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two bedrooms have private bathrooms and two share one.

Who is the house ideal for?
Heiðin suits couples, families, and small groups looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay near Akureyri.

Is the property private?
Yes. Guests have the entire villa to themselves.

Check-In and Check-Out

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is after 16:00 and check-out is before 11:00.

Can I request early check-in or late check-out?
Yes, depending on availability. Please contact us before your arrival to confirm.

How do I check in?
Guests receive self check-in instructions before arrival.

Does the villa have a hot tub?
Yes, a private outdoor hot tub is available for guests.

Is Wi-Fi included?
Yes, free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.

Yes, the house has full underfloor heating.

A starter set of Nespresso pods is provided.

Yes, a BBQ grill is available for guest use.

Is there a dining area?
Yes, the dining area comfortably seats all guests and overlooks the surrounding landscape.

Is cleaning included?
Yes, the mandatory cleaning fee is automatically applied when booking.

Is there a washing machine and dryer?
Yes, both are available and detergent is provided.

Parking and Access

Is parking available?
Yes, private parking is available directly at the villa for at least two cars.

Can I charge my electric vehicle?
Yes, there is a Type 2 EV charging station. However, we kindly ask guests to bring their own charging cable.

Is the road accessible in winter?
Yes, the access road is maintained during winter.

Do you have a baby cot or high chair?
Yes, both are available upon request.

Yes, Heiðin is very family-friendly. Children should be supervised around the hot tub and outdoor areas.
